PART I – GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. Scope and Acceptance of Terms
1.1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions govern the brokerage and sale of travel services, event tickets, Rio de Janeiro Carnival ticket packages, transportation, tours, and experiences provided by Bookers International through its websites and customer service channels.
1.2. Full Acceptance
By completing any purchase or booking on our platforms, the Buyer ("Client") explicitly declares to have read, understood, and fully accepted all clauses contained in this document, as well as the Specific Modules applicable to each purchased product.
2. Purchase Process and Order Confirmation
2.1. Exclusive Sales Channels
Sales of products and services are conducted exclusively through our website with full online processing or in person at our Hospitality Desk. Bookers International is not responsible for purchases made outside its official and authorized channels. Submitting an order does not guarantee immediate availability until payment is approved by our fraud assessment system.
2.2. Confirmation
The transaction between the parties is deemed finalized and concluded only upon the issuance and transmission of the official confirmation voucher/receipt sent through Bookers International's official communication channels to the Client's registered email address.
2.3. Registration Data
The Client bears sole responsibility for accurately providing personal data, email addresses, phone numbers, and payment information. Bookers is not liable for non-delivery of vouchers, tickets, or digital ticket packages resulting from incorrectly typed email addresses or full/blocked inboxes.
3. Global Rules for Cancellation, Modification, and No-Show
3.1. Product Specificity
Because products vary in nature, cancellation deadlines, withdrawal rights, and amendment conditions strictly follow the Specific Module assigned to each product (Part II).
3.2. Full Retention and Specific Scenarios
Once the permitted cancellation window for a specific product has expired, or under the circumstances specified below, Bookers International will retain 100% of the total amount paid, with no right to full or partial refunds or future credits. Regardless of the applicable cancellation conditions, any handling fee charged per ticket is non-refundable.
- 3.2.1. Failure to Collect Tickets and No-Show Concept: The Client's failure to attend the Hospitality Desk during official operating hours to physically pick up their physical ticket packages, vouchers, or credentials constitutes a No-Show (non-attendance / reservation abandonment). The occurrence of a No-Show invalidates the voucher and results in full retention of all amounts paid, with no right to reimbursement or rescheduling.
- 3.2.2. Rejection of Digital Tickets: If the purchased product involves digital ticket/e-ticket issuance and the Client refuses, rejects, or claims non-acceptance of the digital format delivered via official electronic channels, such action shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or return of funds.
- 3.2.3. Absence on Event Day: The Client’s failure to attend on the scheduled date, time, and location for any event, tour, transport, or contracted service constitutes a No-Show, fully releasing Bookers International from any obligation to issue a refund.
- 3.2.4. Ticket Transfer or Resale: Bookers International fully satisfies its contractual obligation upon delivering the ticket in a correct, functional manner and within the agreed timeframe. The company assumes no liability for any subsequent transfers, unauthorized assignments, or ticket resales made by the Client to third parties, remaining completely exempt from any responsibility regarding the use, acceptance, access, or eventual disputes arising from such secondary transactions.
- 3.2.5. Exceeding Cancellation Deadlines: Any cancellation request submitted after the expiration of the deadline specified in the product rules will be summarily denied, maintaining the full order charge in effect.
4. Currency, Foreign Exchange, Fees, and Payment Methods
4.1. Single Billing Currency
All transactions, price displays, and financial processing performed by Bookers International are executed exclusively in US Dollars (USD) through our websites. Alternative payment methods, accepted in different currencies, may be offered by the company exclusively when executed in person at our Hospitality Desk, as described in topic 4.3.5. Bookers International is not responsible for currency exchange variations, foreign transaction taxes (IOF), or conversion fees applied directly by the Client’s banking institution or credit card issuer when converting amounts into their local currency.
4.2. Processing & Brokerage Fees
The Client explicitly acknowledges and agrees that the processing fee applied to our transactions originates from tourism fees, designated exclusively to cover operational costs, technological development, multilingual support, customer care, and travel brokerage services provided by the company.
4.3. Accepted Payment Options
Bookers International provides 5 (five) payment options for purchasing its products and services:
- 4.3.1. Credit Card: Processed directly on the website or via secure payment links, subject to card operator approval and Bookers’ anti-fraud verification system.
- 4.3.2. Bank Transfer (Wise, Zelle, and Bank of America): Valid upon effective settlement of funds into Bookers International's bank account and proof submission within the order timeframe.
- 4.3.3. Camarote Deposit (25% on Website + 75% at Meeting Point): A payment option where the Client pays 25% (twenty-five percent) on the website upon booking, and the remaining 75% (seventy-five percent) must be paid directly at the respective camarote's Meeting Point to pick up their ticket package. The remaining payment at the Meeting Point must be completed strictly up to two days before the chosen parade date by 5:00 PM (local time). Failure to pay the balance within the specified deadline will prevent ticket collection without refund rights.
- 4.3.4. Partial Payment Option (Payment Desk): By opting for the "Payment Desk" service, the customer agrees to pay an initial amount set by the company, corresponding to a percentage of the total purchase price. This advance payment guarantees the reservation of the ticket package, provided they are collected until 5:00 PM (local time), two days before the chosen parade date.
- 4.3.5. In-Person Payments at the Hospitality Desk: Payments made directly at our official customer counter during the event season, which can be executed via credit card, debit card, or physical cash exclusively in Brazilian Reais (BRL) or US Dollars (USD).
4.4. Third-Party Purchases / Cards & Pickup Rules
If a purchase is made in a third party's name, using a third party's credit card, or if physical pickup at the Hospitality Desk is performed by a third party, generic powers of attorney will not be accepted. Presenting our official authorization form (sent with instructions by our customer service), duly completed and signed, is strictly mandatory, accompanied by the following documentation:
- A copy of the buyer’s/cardholder's official photo ID;
- The original official photo ID of the third party collecting the items;
- Presentation of the physical credit card used for the transaction (or digital card view inside the official banking app).
5. Travel Documentation and Entry Requirements
5.1. Passenger Responsibility and Interruption Disclaimer
The Client bears sole responsibility for obtaining and holding all required travel documentation to travel and enter Brazil/Rio de Janeiro (valid passport, visas, and vaccination certificates). In the event of travel or access interruption due to missing documentation, Bookers International shall not be held liable for any financial loss incurred by the Client and is fully exempt from issuing any refund of the purchase price or product, strictly abiding by the rules in Item 3 (Global Rules for Cancellation, Modification, and No-Show).
5.2. Service Access Restrictions
Refusal of entry at airports or border checkpoints, as well as denial of boarding or access to tours, hotels, boat trips, parties, or event venues due to lack of adequate documentation, dress code violations, or late arrival shall not entitle the Client to any financial refund from Bookers International.
6. Travel Insurance and Health Coverage
6.1. Express Recommendation
Bookers International strongly advises all Clients to acquire comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure.
6.2. Medical Expenses
Bookers International assumes no liability for medical bills, hospital charges, or emergency evacuations arising from injuries or illnesses incurred during the Client's trip.
7. ANTI-FRAUD POLICY, IDENTITY VERIFICATION, AND CHARGEBACKS
7.1. Risk Assessment & Document Requests
To safeguard transaction security and prevent fraud, Bookers reserves the right to request verification documents. This request may be issued through Bookers' official digital or physical channels during product delivery, requiring an official photo ID and the credit card (digital or physical) used for the purchase (copies of the card will not be accepted). Failure to comply will result in immediate cancellation without refund.
7.2. Proof of Service Performance
The Client explicitly acknowledges that confirmation emails, e-tickets, system access logs, Face ID records, security camera footage at the delivery location, signed proof of product receipt, as well as any proof of product modifications made during customer service (whether virtual or in person), constitute irrefutable proof of full service delivery and contractual fulfillment.
7.3. Prohibition of Fraudulent Chargebacks
The Client agrees not to initiate payment disputes or credit card chargebacks with their financial institution for legitimate purchases that have been confirmed, fulfilled, logged as a No-Show, or purchases transferred or sold to third parties.
8. Personal Data Protection (LGPD / GDPR) & Operational Disclaimer
8.1. Operational Liability Exclusion
Bookers International acts strictly as a sales brokerage agency and is not the organizer of the events, parties, tours, hotels, or other provided services. The company holds no liability for event modifications, technical failures, issues on land, air, or sea, operating hour changes, absence of third-party service providers, or lack of supplies/food.
8.2. Commitment to Privacy
Bookers International processes Client personal data in strict compliance with the LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018) and applicable international regulations.
8.3. Data Subject Rights
Clients may exercise their rights to access, rectify, or delete their personal data by submitting a formal request directly to our customer service via the official emails listed on the website after the utilization period of the contracted product or service.
9. General Limitation of Liability and Force Majeure
9.1. Intermediary Status
Bookers International acts solely as an independent travel agency brokering services operated by third-party suppliers and is not liable for direct operational failures of third parties (such as work stoppages, safety-related itinerary changes, strikes, or technical failures).
9.2. Force Majeure
Bookers shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations resulting from unforeseen or unavoidable events (natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, or civil unrest).
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This transaction and these terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws and court jurisdiction designated by Bookers International in its country of official corporate registration.

1.2.5. No Duplicate Policy and Loss Exemption
Physical or digital ticket packages are bearer instruments. Once electronically delivered or physically handed over at the Hospitality Desk/Meeting Point, the safe custody of the ticket package becomes the sole responsibility of the Client. Although unlikely, in such cases, Bookers International may offer upgrades free of charge or a full refund option for all such items. In the case of cancellation where the ticket cannot be upgraded or when the upgrade is not accepted by customers, Bookers International will refund the ticket/package amount in the same currency and payment method used at the time of purchase. This includes but is not limited to adverse weather conditions such as rainfall, storms, floods, or congestion; strikes; accidents; fires; flight delays; avenue or access interruptions; airport closures; or similar events. Parades take place rain or shine, and schedule adjustments or rain do not entitle the Client to refunds or financial compensation.
MODULE 2 – TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
2.1. Sambadrome Shuttle Transfer
2.1.1. Purchase Options
The Sambadrome shuttle transfer service can be purchased on our website bundled together with a ticket package, as a standalone service, or as part of a promotional campaign (for further information regarding promotional campaigns, please consult Module 4 of these Terms and Conditions).
2.1.2. Departure Location and Schedule Selection
All outbound departures operate exclusively from our Hospitality Desk, located at the Hotel Atlântico Copacabana. Available departure times must be consulted and selected directly on our website when the Client is prompted to schedule their departure time slot.
2.1.3. Assistance and Guidance by Bookers Angels
The transfer service includes on-site assistance from our team of bilingual guides, the Bookers Angels, who are responsible for assisting passengers during boarding and drop-off, throughout transit, and providing general information regarding the Sambadrome.
2.1.4. Drop-off Locations (Even and Odd Side Routes)
Passenger drop-off at the Sambadrome is operated via two distinct routes: one for the Even-numbered side and another for the Odd-numbered side. Clients must strictly follow the instructions of the Bookers Angels to drop off at the correct location and access the Sambadrome safely.
2.1.5. Return Logistics and Boarding Tolerance
For the return trip back to the Hospitality Desk at Hotel Atlântico Copacabana, shuttles will depart periodically from the exact same drop-off locations — on the Even Side and Odd Side. At the end of the event, after the performance of the night's final samba school, there will be a strict 30 (thirty) minute tolerance period for return boarding. If the client is not in line within this tolerance window, it will be deemed a voluntary waiver/abdication of the service (No-Show), leaving Bookers International free from any liability or refund obligations.
2.1.6. Service Validation and Boarding Pass
To access the transfer service (round-trip), passengers must present and validate their official QR Code, delivered via email starting in February 2027 or made available directly on the Client's order management page on our website.
MODULE 3 – TOURS & EXPERIENCES
3.1. Roxy Dinner Show
3.1.1. Intermediary Status
Bookers International acts solely as an independent ticketing and distribution agent for the Roxy Dinner Show. The event’s organization, production, culinary execution, and management remain the sole responsibility of the venue (Roxy Dinner Show).
3.1.2. Seat Assignment Policy
Seat selection is not available at the time of purchase. Seats/tables are assigned automatically by the venue's system. Tickets purchased under the same booking reference (same transaction) will be prioritized for joint allocation; however, this is strictly subject to seating availability when the reservation is processed. Bookers International cannot guarantee that large groups or separate orders will be seated at the same table.
3.1.3. Schedule, Check-In, and Dinner Punctuality
Suggested arrival at the Roxy Box Office is at 6:15 PM. Doors close and the experience begins promptly at 7:00 PM. Strict punctuality is required to ensure guests do not miss any course of the dinner, which is served entirely prior to the show. No refunds, partial refunds, or rescheduling will be granted for late arrivals.
3.1.4. Digital Ticket Delivery and Access (QR Code)
Tickets will be delivered in digital format to the email address registered during purchase. Access to the venue and dinner show experience is strictly conditional upon presenting the official QR Code (on a mobile device or printed copy) at the entrance for validation.
3.1.5. Dress Code
Smart casual attire is required. Beachwear, flip-flops, athletic wear, or tank tops are strictly prohibited. The venue reserves the right to deny entry based on dress code violations without any right to a refund.
3.1.6. Minors and Children's Tickets
The show is suitable for all ages, provided minors are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Presenting an original government-issued photo ID (passport or ID card) for the child at check-in is mandatory. All children, regardless of age, require their own individual paid ticket to access the venue and dinner show; free admission is not available.
3.1.7. Cancellation and Refund Policy (72-Hour Rule)
Cancellation or refund requests for the Roxy Dinner Show can only be processed within up to 72 (seventy-two) hours from the exact time of purchase. If the purchased event date falls within less than 72 (seventy-two) hours from the purchase moment, the cancellation will not be valid or processed under any circumstances, resulting in a 100% fee retention.
3.1.8. Media Policy
Photography without flash is permitted only during designated moments. Video recording of any part of the performance is strictly prohibited.
3.2. Copa Ball
3.2.1. Intermediary Status
Bookers International acts solely as an independent ticketing and distribution agent for the Copa Ball. The event’s organization, production, culinary execution, menu, and management remain the sole and exclusive responsibility of the venue (Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel).
3.2.2. Mandatory Dress Code
Entry and attendance at the Copa Ball strictly require compliance with the event’s official dress code: Black Tie (Tuxedo for men and Evening Gown for women) or Luxury/Gala Costume. Guests wearing casual wear, smart casual attire, simple costumes, shorts, tank tops, or improper footwear will be denied entry by hotel security. Denied access due to dress code violations is the sole responsibility of the Client and will not entitle the user to any refund or compensation.
3.2.3. Ticket Categories
- Individual Ticket (Standing): Grants general access to the ballrooms, gourmet buffet dining, and open bar featuring premium spirits. Does not include reserved seating or assigned tables.
- Reserved Tables & Lounges (Noble Room / Golden Room): Includes assigned table seating or private areas according to the ticket type purchased, along with full buffet dining and open bar service.
3.2.4. Age Restriction
In compliance with local laws and given the continuous open bar service of alcoholic beverages, entry to the Copa Ball is strictly prohibited for individuals under 18 (eighteen) years of age, even if accompanied by parents or legal guardians. Presenting an original government-issued photo ID or passport is mandatory at the hotel entrance.
3.2.5. Copa Ball Ticket Collection Logistics
Physical ticket delivery for the Copa Ball shall strictly follow the composition of the Client's order:
- Exclusive Purchases or Combined with Grandstand, Allocated Chair, or Front Box (Frisa) Tickets: If the Client purchased only the Copa Ball ticket, or the Copa Ball ticket combined with digital ticket packages (Grandstand/Allocated Chair) or physical Front Box (Frisa) packages, the Copa Ball ticket must be collected in person at the Bookers International Hospitality Desk (Hotel Atlântico Copacabana), strictly from February 2nd, 2027 to February 6th, 2027, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Brasilia time). Delivery ends on February 6th, 2027, as that is the event date.
- Purchases Combined with Camarote Packages: If the Client purchased the Copa Ball ticket combined with any Camarote ticket package, the Copa Ball ticket must be collected at the specific Meeting Point of the respective Camarote, fully respecting that venue's official operating days and hours.
3.2.6. Cancellation & Non-Refundable Policy
Due to the exclusive, high-demand, and limited-inventory nature of this gala event, tickets for the Copa Ball are strictly non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be canceled once the booking confirmation is issued, resulting in 100% fee retention in the event of cancellation or No-Show.
MODULE 4 – PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS & OFFERS
8.1. Concept and Definition of Bundled Offers
A Promotional Action or Campaign is defined as the joint sale of 2 (two) or more travel products and/or services offered as a linked bundle for a fixed, promotional, and unified price, previously set by Bookers International on its official sales channels.
8.2. Indivisibility and Customization Restrictions
8.2.1. Unalterability of Promotional Bundles
The terms, components, schedules, categories, and inclusions of a promotional action are fixed and predetermined. Purchasing a promotional campaign does not authorize the Client to request customization, substitution, splitting, or modification of one or more products/services included in the bundle.
8.2.2. Restriction on Proportional Discounts
No additional discounts, deductions, financial compensations, or partial refunds will be granted should the Client choose not to use or decide to waive any of the individual products/services included in the promotional offer.
8.3. Cancellation and Refund Policy for Promotional Offers
8.3.1. Prohibition of Partial Cancellations
Partial cancellation of individual products or services belonging to a promotional campaign is strictly prohibited. The Client may not retain selected items from the bundle and request a proportional refund for the remaining products.
8.3.2. Mandatory Full Cancellation
Any cancellation request regarding a promotional offer must mandatorily encompass the complete and total package, covering all products and services included in the promotional bundle.
8.3.3. Deadlines and Fee Retentions
The full cancellation of a promotional offer strictly adheres to the withdrawal deadlines and retention rules applicable to the most restrictive product within the bundle, or the specific rules outlined in the campaign's regulation. Once the permitted window has expired, or if any single item of the bundle has been used, Bookers International will retain 100% of the total amount paid.

MODULE 6 – CARNIVAL COSTUMES & PARADE PARTICIPATION
10.1. Third-Party Referral Disclaimer & Non-Agency Status
10.1.1. Merely Informational Character
Bookers International does not sell, produce, manufacture, or broker the purchase of carnival costumes for Samba School parades at the Sambadrome. The costume section featured on Bookers International's websites and platforms serves a purely informational and tourist recommendation purpose.
10.1.2. Independent Service Providers (Jorge and Tainá)
Bookers International solely refers Clients to independent third-party partners Jorge and Tainá as a reference contact for purchasing wing (alas) and float costumes. The Client explicitly acknowledges that Jorge and Tainá operate as fully independent third-party service providers, without any partnership, commercial representation, corporate affiliation, or joint liability with Bookers International.
